Fellowship alumni, filmmaker and current research associate Bernadette Kolonko has been invited to show her shortfilm “IN_VISIBLE” (“UN_SICHTBAR”) at the Hungarian film festival CineFest in Miskolc.
The film is a cinematic letter, exploring family archive, the past and the present: Beginning with the image of her mother avoiding the male gaze, the filmmaker opens a discourse on her own socialisation through images – testing the ability of her own body to become that of a flaneuse and approaching a feminist gaze.
