Exposition by PEER Tabea Rothfuchs published in JAR

The Journal for Artistic Research (JAR) published the exposition of our PEER Tabea Rothfuchs.

Her exposition focuses on the question of what happens to the inner and outer world of a person when no medical procedure can (any longer) decipher the origin of the pain experienced? When the pain has become an independent clinical picture of ‘chronic pain’? In a series of dialogues with pain patients and pain specialists, in this study Tabea explored- as an artist and pain reminder – how chronic pain affects and changes life and what space it occupies in the lives of those affected and treated. Or formulated as a core question: are people with chronic pain included in the lives of other people, in our social structure and the political system at all?
